In Micani, a remote part of the Bolivian high Andes, drought, soil erosion, heavy rain and hailstorms are already leading to crop failures and a precarious food situation. In the project, we work together with the communities and their families to design solutions for resilient food systems with sustainable farming methods to improve the nutritional situation in the long term and to offer prospects for a self-determined life in this diverse region despite climate change.

Warum Bolivien?
Seit unserer Gründung steht das bolivianische Hochland im Zentrum unserer Arbeit. Diese Region vereint Schönheit und Herausforderungen, immer stärker auch durch den Klimawandel. Gemeinsam mit unseren lokalen Partnern und den Dorfgemeinschaften entwickeln wir Projekte, die auf die lokalen Bedürfnisse abgestimmt sind und an die Lebensrealitäten der Menschen anknüpfen. Diese langjährige Beziehung ist für uns zentral, um kulturelle Werte zu respektieren und dauerhafte Lösungen zu schaffen.
